Authorized XPEL installer
Most Wanted Tint & Wraps is a Santa Ana studio that installs paint protection film, window tint and ceramic coating, run by a team with more than six years in the trade. We are an authorized XPEL installer, listed in XPEL’s installer directory, and XPEL is the only film we work with. Fullerton customers come to us from Sunny Hills, Coyote Hills and around the campus, often with a new car they want protected early. We quote each vehicle on its own and walk you through the job first. All of the work is done inside our bay. Every panel gets checked under light before pickup, and again the next day. We are open daily from 9 to 8. Getting here is one run down the 57. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Fullerton, our PPF studio is easy to reach from across the Fullerton area.
A clear urethane layer over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick. Rock chips hit the film, not the clear coat. Light swirls warm up in the sun and flow back flat.
Cut digitally for your model, fitted indoors, edges wrapped so there is no line to catch your eye. It comes off years later leaving factory paint exactly as it was. Every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us.
Authorized XPEL dealer
Authorized installer is not a sticker. It means the film is genuine XPEL, the pattern is pulled from XPEL’s library for your exact year and model, and the film carries XPEL’s own warranty. You can see our listing in XPEL’s installer directory.
Fullerton commutes on the 57 and the 91 send a lot of road debris at the nose of a car. The film handles it only when every edge is tight, so we plot each kit and install it indoors. Edges wrap around the panel where possible, seams follow body lines, and nothing is trimmed on your paint with a blade. Before handoff, each panel is checked under light, then again the next day.
We install XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS for clear gloss, XPEL STEALTH for a satin finish, and XPEL COLOR PPF for a color change that also protects.
Installation
Every kit is cut on a plotter from a pattern made for your exact vehicle. The film is never cut on your car.
How far an edge can wrap depends on the panel design. We show you before we start. The goal is a finish that looks like it came from the factory.
Color PPF
Color PPF does both at once. The car changes color and still takes the rock chips, because the color lives in the film, not in a thin wrap. Drag the line.
From Downtown to Sunny Hills to the campus, the studio is one run south on the 57. These are the parts of Fullerton cars come from.
Street parking and tight lots. Full body coverage keeps door scratches and scuffs on the film, not the paint.
Garage-kept cars on the 57 and the 91 every day. A full front covers the four panels that take the freeway spray.
Campus lots with cars in full sun all day. The ceramic coating over the film, included, keeps the paint easy to wash.
Hill roads and canyon gravel. Film the hood and bumper before the first chip finds them.
Coming from next door? See PPF for Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Tustin, or the main Orange County PPF page.
Ask a shop to prove three things. That it is authorized by the film brand, which you can confirm in XPEL’s directory, where we are listed. That the film is plotter cut from the maker’s pattern rather than trimmed on your car. And that installs happen indoors. A shop that does good work will also be happy to show you finished cars. Finally, make sure the quote names the exact film line going on your car.
There is no single price, because every car is a different job. Coverage, panel complexity, removal work and paint condition all change the quote. Send the year, make and model and we reply during open hours, 9 to 8 daily. A new car straight from the dealer is usually the simplest job, because the paint needs the least prep.
Short answer: one to two days for a full front, a few days for full body. The film also keeps settling for about a week after pickup, so treat that first week gently.
For a new car on the 57 and the 91, usually yes. Chips start in the first weeks of ownership, and a repaint never quite matches factory paint. Film costs less and comes off clean later. On a first new car, it is one of the few upgrades that protects what you paid for instead of just changing how the car looks.
Full front covers the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, the panels that face the road. Full body is worth it for a car that sits in open lots all day, like the ones around campus, or for anyone who wants every panel protected. Daily commuters often start with a full front and add more coverage later.
Sure. Film keeps future chips off the paint but does not hide the ones already there. We check the paint before the install and recommend touch-up only when it makes a visible difference.
If you stand a foot away and hunt for an edge, you may find one. From anywhere else, it reads as paint. That is the point of a kit cut for your model and a careful indoor install.
Cheap film can, especially in years of strong sun. XPEL’s top coat is designed to stay clear and resist staining, and yellowing falls under the manufacturer warranty.
Plan on years of protection. The warranty comes from XPEL, not just from us, and the terms for the film you choose are on your quote. The main thing that shortens film life is neglect, so regular washing matters.
Yes. A clean removal leaves factory paint in the condition it was protected in, which helps when you sell the car or return a lease. When the time comes, we can remove it for you.
The film has an elastic top layer. When it warms up, small scratches and swirl marks smooth themselves out. Deep impacts stay in the film instead of your clear coat.
One week, then you are clear to wash. Skip brush car washes for the first couple of weeks and keep pressure washer nozzles off the edges.
Not really. Campus lots and street parking mean dust and sap, so wash it regularly and skip abrasive polishes. The ceramic coating we apply over the film keeps that easy.
Vinyl is the budget way to change a color. Color PPF costs more, but it is thicker, self-healing and protective, so the paint underneath stays like new. We give you a straight comparison for your car.
Paint protection film, or PPF, is a clear urethane film bonded over the paint. It stops rock chips and scuffs, heals light scratches with heat, and is often called a clear bra.
Yes. The term clear bra goes back to when the film covered only the front of the car. Today the same film, much improved, covers full panels and wraps around edges.
