About Us

Most Wanted Tint & Wraps is a small studio on the Santa Ana side of the Tustin line. For more than six years our team has installed paint protection film, window tint and wraps, and we are an authorized XPEL installer, listed in XPEL’s installer directory. XPEL is the only film we use. Tustin is close enough that plenty of customers drop a car off in the morning and are back home before their coffee gets cold. We quote every car on its own, explain what the job involves, and do the work in an indoor bay, never in a driveway. Before handoff each panel gets checked under light, and we look again the next day. We are open daily from 9 to 8. Getting here takes almost no time: our PPF studio is right near the Tustin–Santa Ana border, less than ten minutes from Old Town Tustin.

What it actually
does to your paint

A clear urethane layer over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick. Rock chips hit the film, not the clear coat. Light swirls warm up in the sun and flow back flat.

Cut digitally for your model, fitted indoors, edges wrapped so there is no line to catch your eye. It comes off years later leaving factory paint exactly as it was. Every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us.

Authorized XPEL dealer

Why XPEL Film

XPEL is the film we chose to install, and being an authorized installer is what keeps that choice honest. You get genuine XPEL, not a lookalike roll. You get a pattern pulled from XPEL’s library for your exact year and model. And you get a manufacturer warranty on the film itself. You can see our name in XPEL’s directory of installers.

The other half is the install. North Tustin hill roads throw gravel at a hood, and the film only helps if it is tight to every edge, which is why the work happens in a clean indoor bay. Every kit is plotter cut for your car, edges are wrapped where the panel allows, and seams are tucked along body lines so they stay out of sight.

Clear protection is XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS. XPEL STEALTH gives a factory satin look, and XPEL COLOR PPF is for a full color change with real protection.

Installation

PPF film installation

Every kit is cut on a plotter from a pattern made for your exact vehicle. The film is never cut on your car.

  • Precise alignment on every panel
  • Clean, even edges
  • Consistent gaps at trim and seams
  • Clean transitions between pieces
  • Edges wrapped or tucked where the panel allows
  • Dust-controlled indoor bay
  • Full surface prep before any film
  • Final inspection under light

How far an edge can wrap depends on the panel design. We show you before we start. The goal is a finish that looks like it came from the factory.

Color PPF

Want a new color
and protection?

Color PPF does both at once. The car changes color and still takes the rock chips, because the color lives in the film, not in a thin wrap. Drag the line.

Where Tustin Customers Drive From

All of Tustin,
ten minutes down 17th

Old Town, the Ranch, the Legacy and the hills of North Tustin are all a short surface-street run to our door. No freeway needed.

01

Old Town Tustin

About ten minutes from our door straight down 17th St, so dropping the car off and picking it up around your day is easy.

02

Tustin Ranch & Tustin Legacy

Newer neighborhoods, a lot of new cars. Film goes on cleanest when the paint has never met a rock, so the first week of ownership is the best week.

03

North Tustin, Cowan Heights & Lemon Heights

Hill roads with loose gravel on every shoulder. A full front covers the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors that take that spray.

04

The District & The Market Place

Big open lots, carts and cars that sit in full sun. The ceramic coating over the film, included with every install, keeps it easy to rinse.

PPF FAQ

What everyone asks
before filming a car

Ask three questions before you book. Is the shop authorized by the film maker? You can find us in XPEL’s installer directory. Does the kit come from the manufacturer’s pattern for your exact model? And does the install happen in a clean indoor bay? Those answers tell you most of what you need to know. Since we are this close to Tustin, you are welcome to stop by during open hours and see the studio before you decide.

We do not use a price list, because no two cars are the same job. The quote depends on the coverage, the shape of the panels, what needs to come off and the condition of the paint. Send us the year, make and model, and a real person replies during open hours, daily from 9 to 8. Photos of the car help us spot anything that changes the job, like existing chips or a repainted panel.

Being this close to Tustin helps, because the car does need to stay with us for a bit. A full front takes one to two days and a full body install takes a few. Either way, you leave with a pickup day set in advance.

If the car is new, leased or simply one you love, usually yes. Rock chips at lease return can cost you, and a repainted panel never quite matches the factory finish. Film costs less than fixing those problems later, and it comes off clean. It matters most on cars you drive every day, because that is where chips pile up fastest.

Full front protects the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, the panels that face the road. It suits most daily drivers. Full body is better for a car that parks outdoors or in busy lots like The District, or for an owner who wants every panel covered. You can also start with a full front now and add more panels later.

We can. The catch is that film does not erase a chip, it seals it in place. Small ones can often be touched up before the film goes on, and we point them out when we inspect the car.

From a normal distance, no. Up close you may find an edge if you know where to look. We keep that to a minimum by cutting each kit for your model, wrapping edges where the panel allows and placing seams on body lines.

Not modern XPEL film. The yellowing people remember came from older generations. Today’s top coats resist it, and the XPEL warranty covers yellowing, so it is not something you should be guessing about.

Years, not seasons. XPEL backs its films with a manufacturer warranty, and the exact terms for your film are written into your quote. Regular washing and keeping harsh chemicals off it both help it age well.

Yes. It comes off factory paint cleanly when a professional removes it. That is why leased cars and resale-minded owners like it. Removal takes heat and patience, so it is best done in a shop rather than at home.

The top coat is elastic. Heat from the sun or warm water lets fine scratches and swirls flow back flat. Deep impacts stay in the film, but your paint underneath stays untouched.

Leave it about a week. In the first two weeks after that, wash by hand and keep any pressure washer well away from the film edges. From then on, it is a normal car.

Hardly any. Keep it clean with a regular hand or touchless wash and you are most of the way there. Stay away from polishing compounds on the film, and let the ceramic coating we apply do the rest.

If protection matters, Color PPF wins: it changes the color and still takes rock chips, and it self-heals. Vinyl is a style change with much lighter protection. We will tell you honestly which suits your plans.

Paint protection film is a clear, flexible urethane layer applied over the paint. It is about as thick as a business card, it heals light scratches, and it takes the chips and scuffs your paint would otherwise get.

Same thing. Clear bra is the older name from when film only covered the front of the car. Modern PPF can cover whole panels or the entire car, with wrapped edges and a self-healing finish.
