Authorized XPEL installer
Most Wanted Tint & Wraps is an authorized XPEL installer, and we treat that as a standard, not a sticker on the door. Every kit is genuine XPEL film, cut on a plotter from XPEL’s own pattern for your exact year and model, and fitted inside a dust-controlled bay, never in a driveway. Edges are wrapped where the panel allows, seams are hidden on body lines, and every panel is inspected under light before handoff. The film carries XPEL’s own warranty, written into your quote, and every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us. Teslas, EVs and premium cars are most of what comes through the door. Conveniently located about 20 minutes from Newport Beach up the 55, our PPF studio is easy to reach from across Orange County.
A clear urethane layer over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick. Rock chips hit the film, not the clear coat. Light swirls warm up in the sun and flow back flat.
Cut digitally for your model, fitted indoors, edges wrapped so there is no line to catch your eye. It comes off years later leaving factory paint exactly as it was. Every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us.
Authorized XPEL dealer
Authorized dealer means three things. The film is genuine XPEL, not a roll of something cheaper sold under the same name. The pattern for your exact model comes out of XPEL’s own database, so the coverage is right to the millimetre. And the warranty behind the film is written by XPEL, not by us. You can check us against XPEL’s own installer directory for Santa Ana.
XPEL writes the warranty on the film. The shop writes the outcome. A warranty replaces a bad panel — it does not un-see a lifted edge or a crooked cut in your driveway. So the real question is not which film, it is who is putting it on your car.
We fit XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS for clear protection, XPEL STEALTH when you want factory satin, and XPEL COLOR PPF when the car is changing colour.
Installation
Every kit is cut on a plotter from a pattern made for your exact vehicle. The film is never cut on your car.
How far an edge can wrap depends on the panel design. We show you before we start. The goal is a finish that looks like it came from the factory.
Color PPF
Color PPF does both at once. The car changes color and still takes the rock chips, because the color lives in the film, not in a thin wrap. Drag the line.
Wherever you are on the water, the studio is one straight run up the 55. These are the corners of Newport cars come from.
Garage-kept cars that still spend weekends on PCH. A full front is the usual order on a premium car that lives here.
Hill roads and the 73. Gravel off the shoulder hits the bumper first, so the bumper and hood are the panels to film.
Salt air and sand on cars that live outside. Film keeps the sand off the paint, and the ceramic coating on top keeps the salt from sticking.
Valet rows and tight parking. Full body coverage means valet scuffs land on the film instead of the paint.
Daily drivers running 17th Street and the 55, which is a straight run to our door.

Three things to check, and you can check all of them before you book. One, is the shop authorized by the film brand — you can look us up in XPEL’s own installer directory for Santa Ana. Two, is the film cut from the manufacturer’s pattern for your exact model, or cut by hand on the car. Three, does the work happen indoors in a clean bay, because dust trapped under film is permanent. Ask any shop those three questions and the answers sort themselves out.
We quote per car, because four things move the number: how much of the car you cover, how complicated its panels are, how much has to come apart, and what shape the paint is in before film goes on. A front end on a coupe and a full body on a three-row SUV are not the same job, so a menu price would be a guess. Send the year, make and model and you get the real number back — a real person replies during open hours, 9 to 8 daily.
A full front is usually a day or two depending on how much comes apart. Full body runs several days. Film also needs time to settle afterward, which is why we ask you to leave it alone for the first week.
Depends on the car and the miles. On a lease it pays off more often than people expect, because rock chips are chargeable wear at turn-in and the film comes off clean. A car you are keeping, one with soft paint, or anything you would hate to see chipped is exactly what it is for. Compare the film against one repaint of a hood and the math usually answers itself.
Full front covers the panels that take the hits: bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. That is where the vast majority of damage lands, and it is what most of our customers pick. Full body is for cars that live outside, get parked in tight lots, or that you simply do not want touched anywhere.
They solve different problems and they work together (full breakdown: PPF vs ceramic coating). PPF is a physical barrier against impact. A ceramic coating is a chemical layer for gloss, water beading and easy washing, and it does nothing against a rock. Film the front, coat the rest, and you have covered both.
We can, and you should know that film locks in whatever is under it. Existing chips and swirls will still be there, just sealed. If the paint is worth correcting first, we will say so before we start rather than after.
Installed properly, barely. We cut patterns digitally for your model, wrap edges where panels allow, and hide seams on body lines. Most owners forget it is there until a rock reminds them.
Old-generation film did, and that reputation stuck. Modern premium film uses non-yellowing top coats and is warrantied against yellowing, cracking and peeling. This is exactly why we refuse to install bargain film.
Quality film is measured in years, not seasons, and carries a manufacturer warranty. Exact terms depend on the film line we install, and we put them in writing with your quote.
Yes, professional film comes off clean without damaging factory paint. At trade-in time that is the story you want: paint that spent its whole life protected.
The top coat is a polymer that flows back into shape when warmed. Light swirls disappear with sun heat or warm water. Deep rock chips do not heal, but the film absorbs them so your paint never sees the hit.
Give the film about a week to fully set before the first wash, and skip pressure washing directly at the edges for the first couple of weeks. After that, wash it like normal. Hand wash or touchless is always kinder to any finish.
Not really. Regular washing is enough. A ceramic coating on top of the film makes it even more slippery and easier to keep clean, which is why many of our customers pair the two.
If you want a new look and real protection, Color PPF. If you want a style change on a tighter budget and accept lighter protection, vinyl. We install both and will tell you honestly which fits your car and plans.
A clear urethane film applied over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick, with a self-healing top coat. It takes rock chips, sand and scratches so your factory finish does not. People also call it PPF or a clear bra.
Same film, older name. “Clear bra” comes from the early days when the film only covered the nose of the car. Modern PPF is that idea grown up: full panels, wrapped edges, a self-healing top coat. If you were searching for a clear bra installer, you are in exactly the right place.
Tell us your vehicle and what you're after. We'll come back fast with a clear price for your exact car. No pressure, no runaround.
