Authorized XPEL installer
Most Wanted Tint & Wraps is a dedicated installation studio in Santa Ana. The team has more than six years of paint protection film, window tint and wrap work, and we are an authorized XPEL installer, listed in XPEL’s own directory. XPEL is the only film brand we install. Customers from Laguna Hills and the rest of South County come up the 5 because they want an indoor bay, a quote that fits their exact car and someone who will tell them honestly what the job needs. Each car stays inside until it is finished, every panel gets checked under light before handoff, and we take another look the next day. The warranty covers our work along with the film. Getting here is one straight run north. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Laguna Hills, our PPF studio is easy to reach from across the Laguna Hills area.
A clear urethane layer over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick. Rock chips hit the film, not the clear coat. Light swirls warm up in the sun and flow back flat.
Cut digitally for your model, fitted indoors, edges wrapped so there is no line to catch your eye. It comes off years later leaving factory paint exactly as it was. Every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us.
Authorized XPEL dealer
Being an authorized XPEL installer is the part you can verify. It means genuine XPEL film, a cutting pattern from XPEL’s database for your exact year and model, and a warranty on the film from the manufacturer. Look us up in XPEL’s official directory.
Commutes up the 5 and the 73 send a steady stream of debris at the bumper and hood. Film only stops it if it is fitted precisely, so every Laguna Hills car gets a plotted kit and an indoor install. Edges are wrapped where the panel allows, seams are hidden on body lines, and every panel is checked under light before handoff. That is what keeps the film invisible on a car you see every day.
For clear gloss we use XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS. XPEL STEALTH is for satin, and XPEL COLOR PPF is for a new color with real protection.
Installation
Every kit is cut on a plotter from a pattern made for your exact vehicle. The film is never cut on your car.
How far an edge can wrap depends on the panel design. We show you before we start. The goal is a finish that looks like it came from the factory.
Color PPF
Color PPF does both at once. The car changes color and still takes the rock chips, because the color lives in the film, not in a thin wrap. Drag the line.
From Nellie Gail to the 5 and 73 interchange, the studio is one straight run north. These are the parts of Laguna Hills cars come from.
Premium cars on hill roads. Full front coverage with wrapped edges keeps the film invisible and the paint untouched.
Family cars on the 5 and the 73 every day. The front end takes the freeway spray, and the film takes it instead of the paint.
Every commute north runs behind trucks. Full body or full front, the film is what stands between that gravel and your hood.
Open lots and carts. Clear film on the doors and rear quarters keeps parking scuffs off the paint.
Coming from next door? See PPF for Lake Forest, Irvine, Newport Beach, or the main Orange County PPF page.
Check what can be checked. An authorized installer is listed by the brand, and you can find us in XPEL’s directory. Ask whether the kit comes from the manufacturer’s pattern for your model and whether the install happens indoors. Those two details separate clean work from film you notice. A shop that passes all three checks is worth the drive, even if there is one closer to home.
We quote every car on its own. The price depends on coverage, panel shapes, how much needs to come off and the condition of the paint. Send the year, make and model and we reply during open hours, every day from 9 to 8. If you are leasing, tell us the term. It helps us suggest coverage that fits how long you will have the car.
The bigger the coverage, the longer the car stays. Front-end work usually wraps up within one to two days. Full body needs a few days in the bay so every panel gets the same attention.
With a daily run on the 5 and the 73, most owners find it is. Rock chips are almost guaranteed, and a lease return can charge for them. Film costs less than a front-end repaint and comes off clean. If you are unsure, start with the front end. More coverage can always be added later.
Full front covers the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, where freeway debris lands. Full body is worth it for cars parked outside or in busy lots, or for a premium car on the hill roads of Nellie Gail. Either way, the panels are cut from your car’s pattern, so the coverage matches the body exactly.
We can. Just know the film locks in the current condition of the paint. Small chips can usually be touched up first, and we mention anything bigger before we start.
Most owners forget it is there. The film is cut to your exact panels, wrapped around edges where possible and finished so the seams follow the car’s design.
If someone had a bad experience, it was likely an older or bargain film. XPEL film uses a clear, stain-resistant top layer, and yellowing is part of what the warranty covers.
With ordinary washing, years. We install XPEL film with a manufacturer warranty, and you see the warranty terms in writing before you approve the job. Keeping it clean is the biggest thing you can do to help it last.
Yes. When it is time, a professional removes it with gentle heat, and the original paint is left intact. That makes PPF a safe choice even if you are not sure how long you will keep the car.
Light scratches sit only in the film’s top coat, and that layer recovers with warmth. Sun or warm water does the work. Deeper strikes do not heal, but they never get to the paint.
Wait roughly a week before the first wash. A little haze or a few water spots under the film in those first days is normal and clears as it cures. After two weeks, wash normally.
Just keep it clean. Gentle soap, a soft mitt and no abrasive products is all it takes. The ceramic coating over the film helps water bead and dirt release.
Think about what you want from it. Color PPF changes the color and keeps protecting the paint, with a thicker film that heals light scratches. Vinyl changes the color and not much else. Tell us how long you plan to keep the car and we will point you the right way.
It is the clear film you see on the front of many newer cars, if you know where to look. Made of urethane and about 8 mil thick, it takes rock chips and scuffs for the paint, and its top coat heals light scratches.
Yes. Some shops and longtime drivers still say clear bra. It is the same clear urethane film, just with modern full-panel coverage and wrapped edges.
