Authorized XPEL installer
Most Wanted Tint & Wraps is a Santa Ana studio where the team has spent more than six years installing paint protection film, window tint and wraps. We are an authorized XPEL installer, and you can confirm it in XPEL’s installer directory. XPEL is the only film brand we put on a car. Yorba Linda owners tend to keep their cars for years, so they ask good questions, and we answer every one before the car comes in. Every quote is built for one specific vehicle. The install happens inside our bay, each panel is checked under light before pickup, and we look at the car again the next day. We are open daily from 9 to 8. Getting here is mostly one run down the 55. Conveniently located just 25 minutes from Yorba Linda, our PPF studio is easy to reach from across the Yorba Linda area.
A clear urethane layer over your paint, about 8 mil (0.2 mm) thick. Rock chips hit the film, not the clear coat. Light swirls warm up in the sun and flow back flat.
Cut digitally for your model, fitted indoors, edges wrapped so there is no line to catch your eye. It comes off years later leaving factory paint exactly as it was. Every install leaves with a ceramic coating over the film, on us.
Authorized XPEL dealer
We work with XPEL because the results are consistent, and being an authorized installer protects you. You get genuine film, a pattern from XPEL’s database made for your exact model, and XPEL’s warranty on the material. Our listing is public in XPEL’s installer directory.
Yorba Linda owners tend to keep cars for a long time, and long ownership is where a careful install pays off. Clean edges, hidden seams and an indoor bay keep the film looking right years later. Every kit is plotter cut for your exact car, so nothing is trimmed on the paint. Before handoff we check each panel under light and look at the car again the next day. Small details like these decide how film ages.
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is our clear gloss film, XPEL STEALTH gives a satin look, and XPEL COLOR PPF changes the color while it protects the paint.
Installation
Every kit is cut on a plotter from a pattern made for your exact vehicle. The film is never cut on your car.
How far an edge can wrap depends on the panel design. We show you before we start. The goal is a finish that looks like it came from the factory.
Color PPF
Color PPF does both at once. The car changes color and still takes the rock chips, because the color lives in the film, not in a thin wrap. Drag the line.
It is the 91 West to the 55 South, one merge and you are at our door. These are the parts of Yorba Linda cars come from.
The far end of the 91. Trucks and gravel on that freeway are exactly what a full front is built for.
Garage-kept cars driven on Yorba Linda Boulevard and the 91 daily. Film the front before the first chip, not after.
Long ownership and premium cars. Full body PPF keeps the paint at delivery condition for years, and it comes off clean later.
Open shopping lots and carts. Clear film on the doors and rear quarters keeps the scuffs off the paint.
Coming from next door? See PPF for Anaheim, Fullerton, Tustin, or the main Orange County PPF page.
Pick an installer you can verify. Authorized shops are listed by the brand, and you can find us in XPEL’s directory. Ask how the film is cut and where the car is worked on. A plotted kit and a clean indoor bay are what make a long-term install look right. Film stays on a car for years, so the installer you choose matters more than how soon you can book.
There is no flat rate. Two cars on the same package can be very different jobs once you count the panel shapes, the parts that come off and the condition of the paint. Send the year, make and model, and you will get a real number back during open hours, daily from 9 to 8. Owners who plan to keep the car for years often want full body priced too, and we are happy to include it.
With the drive from Yorba Linda, most owners drop the car once and pick it up once. A full front is ready in one to two days, a full body in a few. We confirm the timing when we quote.
For owners who keep cars for years, it usually is. Film protects the original paint the whole time, and that is worth more than any repaint. If you sell later, it comes off clean. The longer you plan to own the car, the more value you get out of the film.
Full front means the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, which face the gravel on the 91 and the 55. If you are keeping the car for many years or it parks outdoors, full body protects the doors, quarters and roof too. We can walk you through which extra panels are worth it for the way you drive.
Yes, though film is a shield, not a repair. Chips that are already there stay visible underneath. For a car you plan to keep a long time, fixing them first is often worth it, and we will tell you.
Very little, even years in. Clean edges and seams placed on body lines are what keep it invisible over time, and that comes from a pattern cut for your car and an indoor install.
Long-term owners ask this a lot. With modern XPEL film the answer is no: its top coat is designed to stay clear for years, and the warranty covers yellowing if it ever happens.
For as long as most people keep a car. The exact coverage depends on the film line, and XPEL’s warranty terms are written into your quote.
Yes, and that is part of the appeal for long-term owners. Years later the film can come off and the paint under it looks like it did on day one.
The top coat is made of a polymer that returns to shape when warmed. That is why light swirls fade in the sun. It will not fix a deep gouge, but the paint underneath stays protected.
About a week. The film looks finished at pickup, but the adhesive keeps setting underneath. For a couple of weeks after that, avoid aiming a pressure washer at the edges.
The main thing is regular washing. Do not use abrasive polish or a buffer on the film. The ceramic coating included with the install keeps it slick, so dirt and water slide off.
If you keep cars a long time, Color PPF makes more sense: the color and the protection last, and the original paint stays safe underneath. Vinyl suits a shorter-term style change.
It is a clear urethane film that bonds to your paint and takes the hits for it. It is about 8 mil thick, self-heals light scratches, and can come off later without harming factory paint.
Yes, it is the same film. Ask for a clear bra, PPF or paint protection film and you are asking for the same thing. What has changed is how much of the car it can cover.
